With the NAFTA renegotiation having completed its Sixth Round of negotiations at the end of January, the impact of the potential termination of the NAFTA is now a serious consideration for companies operating in Canada, especially where a large percentage of their business depends on sourcing from or supplying the U.S. (and Mexico) markets.  Apart from NAFTA, the Canada - European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) provisionally entered into force on September 21, 2017 and during January the eleven remaining countries in the now named Comprehensive and Progressive Trans Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) have agreed to move forward without the U.S.'s involvement.  This session will provide an overview of the state of play of the NAFTA renegotiations, possible outcomes and impacts on companies, and the planning that companies can be doing now.  The session will also provide an overview of key CETA and CPTPP provisions that may have an impact on the Canadian SmallSat businesses.
